Some more great sale items!

There are some great items in the shop that are now on sale. Here are just a few of them...

Windsor Bench was $175 now $125

Possum Belly, has 2 bread boards & a great primitive look.

was $225 now $185

Little Green Table, SUPER cute!

was $85 now $45!

Stop in and see the rest! There are A LOT of things on sale, gearing up for the Christmas Gathering! The store will be completely revamped!

Firkin Fun

I love firkins, but I don't seem to have a lot of them at once. I like to make stacks, but when I only have one or two in the shop, I get creative. I often mix firkins with cheese boxes. They stack wonderfully and are an affordable alternative. Here I stacked a cheese box, firkin, and a berry tote.

Great Prim Cabinet

I really LOVE this cabinet. It is darling from the outside with a tin mustard door, and when you open it, it does not disappoint! I thought it may be a dye cabinet, but the drawers threw me. Another dealer I showed it to thought it could have been a railroad cabinet of some sort. Whatever it is, it is fabulous! I think it would be the perfect storage for scrapbookers, sewers, office supplies, or even a great little side table by a chair. It really is perfect.

The prim dolls are completely handmade by a folk artist out of Nebraska City, Paula Conner. They are so prim and wonderful. They are also available at my shop. Paula makes such great things, I can't wait to get her Christmas and Winter goods in for the Christmas Gathering on November 19th and 20th!

Christmas Gathering Sneak Peek

I have been busy today preparing for the upcoming Christmas Gathering. I also placed a large order for more yummy candles, tarts, potpourri, bowl fillers, and room sprays. I even added two new scents and votives! These pictures really are just a sneak peek, there is so much fun Christmas and Winter decor. So mark your calendars for November 19th and 20th. (Invites will go out in about a week) I can't wait to see all of you, it is going to be so much fun!
Mercury Glass Santa (he can also be used as a tree topper) & wreath ornaments.

HUGE sugar cones, they are fabulous!

Proof that I have boxes full waiting to be unpacked!

One of my favorite things in the shop...

is this pine bin. It is so versatile. It would be great for firewood, a hamper, or even to hide the trash can. It is at the shop now, and I just love it!

I also just love these garden stakes. Of course they are great in the summer time for your garden or potted plants, but just think of the possibilities. Wouldn't they be wonderful to light the snow lined walkway to your front door, or stuck in a large pot with a cedar tree by the front door? I love them year round!

Thanks for a Great Harvest Gathering

Well, Nelly's Nest first Harvest Gathering was a complete success. Thank you to all my vendors that participated. The work was well worth it, and I can not wait for Spring when I do it all again! That's right, I am planning on doing two vendor shows a year. The next one will take place in the Spring. We had some wonderful vendors that brought fantastic things. One of the most popular items was the concrete pumpkins handcrafted by Annette Morgan of Green Horse Company. Local folk artist, Paula Conner, also brought some fantastic hand mades. Her hand mades are always available in the shop, but it was a special treat to have her join us. We had vendors from Lincoln, Ceresco, Beatrice, Nebraska City, Wahoo, Grand Island, and Mound City, MO. Such a great bunch of people! I hope you enjoy the photos of the show.
